How to Troubleshoot Battery Issues

Extreme environmental conditions can impact the performance of Versatile batteries, particularly in temperatures below 10°F or above 120°F. If you experience a short battery lifespan or incomplete charging, follow these troubleshooting steps.

Troubleshooting Steps:

  1. Inspect for Physical Damage: Look for cracks, swelling, or leaks. If any damage is found, stop using the battery immediately.

  2. Check the Charging Equipment: Ensure the charger and cables are in good condition and properly connected. Consider trying a different compatible charger.

  3. Reset the Battery: If applicable, reset the battery.

  4. Monitor Temperature Conditions: Allow the battery to adjust to room temperature if it has been exposed to extreme cold or heat before charging.

  5. Perform a Full Charge Cycle: Fully discharge the battery, then recharge it completely to recalibrate the charge indicator.

If the battery continues to malfunction after these steps, please contact a Versatile support representative for further assistance.
