How to Activate a Device?

Please read the steps below for steps required to activate a Versatile device.

Device Activation

Pre-Go-Live Checklist

  1. Charge Batteries: Charge for 24 hours before installation.
  2. Connect Batteries: to the device at least 12 hours before going on hook.
  3. Diagnostics Check: Notify Versatile Support after battery connection. Provide the device ID (located on the Crosby load cell) and ensure the device is outside for a strong cellular signal.
  4. Confirmation: Versatile Support will confirm once diagnostics are complete.

Final Check & Go Live

Day of Going Live:

  1. Notify Versatile Support.
  2. Confirm batteries are fully charged and properly installed.
  3. A certified rigger must install the device and rigging.
